much can be done to the bathroom even with a very minimal cost, by making it more simple and bathroom layout is not very extensive and aesthetics will be the ultimate cleanliness to the guard. the bathroom was clean and tidy, although not using a lot of costs but will look more comfortable.

When updating any space that might have tile in it you should consider re grouting and re caulking. This is important maintenance and it should be checked often. If you find loose tile or caulk that is peeling then you should consider a refresh very soon. If it is ignored then you can expect a bigger problem in the future. Re caulking is better done to soon than too late. It is much easier to recaulk or even regrout then it is to do a complete shower rebuild. A steam cleaner is a great tool for sanitation but you must be careful when using it on your sealed grout. If you are needing to use steam on your grout then it is due for some maintenance. If the steam gets the job done then you should consider sealing the grout when you are done. This will inhibit the growth of mold and mildew and it will maintain the color of the grout. If you are unable to get it looking the way it should, then you might need to think about staining the grout to a uniform color. This can be done by a home owner with some planning and practice. It’s amazing what changing the shower curtains and towels can do for a bathroom. This has been my cheap, easy fix a number of times, too and it sure is a lot less work than tile work!

One tip to solve the problem of untidy walls and a small bathroom at the same time is to install a mirror on that wall….as big as possible. This can make a small bathroom appear much bigger and brighter too.

I agree with your thoughts on flooring and on reviving old cabinets with new hardware. However, I think that changing out toilets is pretty easy and there are some old toilets that really can date a bathroom. If your toilet is green, yellow or pink it is probably time to switch it out for a white one. Same with low squatty square shaped toilets.
